It's nice that you are wine tasting and traveling but mean while we have a full on housing crises. Which is caused mostly by way to much immigration over the last 50 years. An article in the NY Times told the story of a single mother with a good job at a college who could not find a studio apartment for her and her son. Her budget was $1800 per month. This is not an unusual story.
I am in the real estate industry and I see the effects that immigration has had on causing a housing crises.
If you want to adress immigration you also have to adress the housing crises that it has created. You complain about some red tape issues but you do not adress the housing crises... Immigration needs to be drastically slowed down in order for this problem to be solved.
Everytime we allow 10 immigrants into this country 2 apartments or houses do not get automatically built.
I hope you and your wife enjoy your travels...
