Why in hell would the Republicans want to Annex Canada?
It would add 2 more Demacratic Senators, probably about 30 more Democratic congressman, (The Republicans would maybe get 10)

And 42 more electoral votes for the Democrats in the presidential elections. The Democrats should be leading the charge for Canada as the 51 st state...
