Your right.. Solar and wind can provide over 50 percent of the world's energy soon. You also need hydro power and nuclear power to make up the bulk of the remaining 50% of the power, in order to solve global warming. But this is close to what we have currently. If you keep the hydro power at about 16 percent of the power it currently provides and triple the amount of power we get from nuclear power (we are currently at 10%) you pretty much solve global warming. We are in striking distance!! Let's get this done!!
